Punta Higüero Lighthouse Park

Rincón's white lighthouse stands on the westernmost point of the town, and the park around it is considered its official sunset spot, with the sun going down into the open sea year round. From the lawn on the low cliff you can watch surfers on the breaks below, and if you are lucky you may spot whales offshore in winter. The park is free, and a path leads down toward the beach. Ola Sunset Café, right beside the lighthouse, serves fresh fruit mojitos. The lot is large but fills up before sunset, so arrive early.
