This seasonal beer garden sits on the roof of the Bok Building, a former vocational school about 130 feet above the rowhouses of South Philadelphia. The sun goes down over the low rooftops to the west, while the whole Center City skyline to the north catches the last light. It opens from around April to the start of November, on evenings late in the week and weekend afternoons, with food from rotating chefs, drinks and evening events such as salsa nights and drag shows. An elevator takes you up to the roof. It gets busy on warm weekends, so arrive well before sunset for a spot along the railing.
