About this spot
The top of Kastella, the hill above Mikrolimano in Piraeus, with the church of Profitis Ilias and the open-air Veakeio theatre. From the western side the sun goes down over Piraeus port and Salamina, with the Saronic Gulf and Aegina to the south. Climb the steps from behind the Mikrolimano restaurants, an easy walk, or drive up. Mikrolimano below is a good place for dinner afterwards. Take metro line 1 to Piraeus, then walk.
