About this spot

A rocky green hill above Exarchia with a local feel and far fewer people than the hills by the Acropolis. From the western rocks the sun goes down over the city and the western suburbs, with the Acropolis in view and the sea in the distance on clear evenings. The further west you sit, the better the view. Paths climb from Emmanouil Benaki Street. The park has a small open-air theatre, a playground and a café on its lower slopes, and the neighbouring streets have tavernas for after dark.
