About this spot
A hotel cocktail bar on the eighth floor above Monastiraki Square, with the Acropolis filling the view to the south and the Ancient Agora and Thissio off to the right, where the sun goes down. It is one of the most popular sunset rooftops in the city, and tables at the railing go first, so book a few days ahead for sunset. Cocktails are on the pricey side, and sources disagree on when the rooftop opens, so check it is open in time for a winter sunset. Monastiraki metro station is right below.
