Park at the Tunnel View parking lot (free), which is right in front of the viewpoint. From here, you'll see El Capitan on the left, Bridalveil Fall on the right, and Half Dome in the distance—all framed by the valley below. At sunset, the granite rocks turn pink and glow beautifully, reflecting the warm light. It's absolutely stunning. The view feels like a postcard come to life. This spot can get crowded, especially during peak season, so arrive at least 30-45 minutes before sunset to claim your spot and watch the light shift across the valley. The magic happens in those final minutes as the sun dips below the horizon and the rocks catch fire with color.
