About this spot
The food hall on the ninth floor of El Corte Inglés at Callao has a terrace looking down Gran Vía to Plaza de España and towards the Royal Palace. In early summer the sun sets almost straight down Gran Vía, behind the towers of Plaza de España. Entry is free and you pay for food and drinks from the counters. Opening hours vary between sources, so check before going. Callao metro station is right outside.
