About this spot
The rooftop of the Círculo de Bellas Artes, where Gran Vía meets Calle de Alcalá, looks out over Gran Vía and the domes and rooftops of central Madrid as the sun goes down. It is one of the city's most popular sunset terraces. Entry to the roof costs around 5 to 6 euros, paid at the entrance on Calle del Marqués de Casa Riera. There is a bar and a restaurant up top. Queues are long on summer evenings, so arrive well before sunset. Banco de España and Sevilla metro stations are nearby.
