About this spot
This observation tower beside Moncloa station has a glass-walled deck with wide views over Parque del Oeste, Casa de Campo and the Sierra de Guadarrama. The city tourism board rates it best for sunsets in autumn and winter, since it closes before sunset the rest of the year. Tickets cost around 4 euros and are for a set time slot, with visits of up to 30 minutes. It is closed on Mondays, and the deck shuts in bad weather. Check the last entry time, as the ticket office closes around 19:30.
