Prague's favourite sunset hill. The park's western slope looks straight across the rooftops of the New Town and Old Town to Prague Castle, and in late spring and late summer the sun drops right behind it. The beer garden at the top has long benches, a grill and several beers on tap, roughly April to October. It fills up after 5 pm on warm weekends, but the grassy slope below has the same view and more space, and you can bring your own drinks. The park is open all day and night. Take the metro to Jiřího z Poděbrad or the tram to Italská, both a few minutes' walk away.
