Powerhouse Park

About this spot

A grassy park on the bluff above Del Mar's main beach, next to Seagrove Park, with an open view west over the Pacific where the sun goes down. Many people spread a blanket on the lawn or walk down to the sand at the foot of 15th Street. There are paid lots near the beach, and the city offers free parking at the Civic Center on Camino del Mar, a short walk away. The restaurants and shops of 15th Street and Camino del Mar are a few minutes on foot.
