A top-floor restaurant and bar in Bankers Hill with a wide view over downtown, San Diego Bay and the airport, where planes glide in to land just below. The sun sets over the Point Loma peninsula across the bay. Golden-hour tables in the dining room are hard to get, so book well ahead, though walk-ins sometimes get lucky in the lounge. There is a dress code, though jackets are no longer required. Prices are high, so the lounge is the easier way to catch the sunset with a cocktail.
