Peraia Beach

About this spot

This long sandy beach across the bay from Thessaloniki has an open horizon over the Thermaic Gulf, and the sun goes down over the water with the city along the coast to the north. A promenade runs along the whole beach, lined with tavernas, cafés and beach bars, some with sunbeds and tables at the water's edge. It is about 25 km from the centre, reached by city bus or by boat from the city.
