About this spot
This grassy park on a former landfill sticks out into the bay at the Berkeley Marina, with open water on three sides. From its western shore you look straight at the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline. The sun goes down near the Golden Gate in winter and behind the Marin hills in summer. The park is open 6am to 10pm. Street parking nearby is time-limited, and the restrooms are portable toilets.
