MAAT Rooftop
🏛️ Landmark❤️ Dating Spot
Direct Sunset View
About this spot
The curved roof of the MAAT museum in Belém is a walkable terrace right above the Tagus, with the 25 de Abril Bridge upriver. In late autumn and winter the sun sets downriver toward the Atlantic, and it is one of the best free sunset perches in the city. Walking on the roof is free; only the galleries need a ticket. Go about an hour before sunset for the golden light on the bridge and river. The museum closes one day a week and the roof's evening access is not well documented, so check before planning a late visit.
